Eligibility Criteria For RRC ECR Apprentice Role
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent under the 10+2 examination system, with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Must hold an ITI certificate in relevant trade, issued by NCVT or SCVT.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years
- Age calculated as of January 1, 2025
- Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- PwBD: +10 years (additional for reserved categories)
RRC ECR Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process is entirely merit-based: A merit list will be prepared based on the average percentage of marks obtained in:
- Matriculation (10th) with at least 50% aggregate.
- ITI trade exam.
In case of a tie:
- Older candidates will be given preference.
- If DOBs are identical, preference will be given to earlier matriculation pass-outs.
