Selection Procedure for UP Police Workshop Staff
Written Examination:
- Conducted on 29–30 January 2024.
- Covered subjects: General Hindi, Science/General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for general candidates, 45% for SC/ST.
Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Height: 168 cm (Male General/OBC/SC), 160 cm (Male ST), 152 cm (Female General/OBC/SC), 147 cm (Female ST).
- Chest (Male): 79–84 cm (General/OBC/SC), 77–82 cm (ST) with 5 cm expansion.
- Weight (Female): Minimum 40 kg.

Physical Endurance Test (PET):
- Male: 4.8 km run in 28 minutes.
- Female: 2.4 km run in 16 minutes.
