EPISODE 03 INDIA FIRST LEADERSHIP TALK SERIES ON ART OF DECISION MAKING BY SHRI. AJIT DOVAL

The webinar commenced on 19th March, 2019 at 11.30 am in the Innovation Centre of 1st year campus. At first the students were arranged with a comfort seating with a frooti juice. There were lots of noise but once the webinar started there was a pin drop silence. The session was between Dr. Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation Officer, MHRD and Shri Ajit Doval, National Security Adviser.

Dr. Ajit Doval gave the note that all the question was by the students and there were 950 questions in total. Most of it were restricted one, but still they sort it some of it for this session. The session’s first question by Dr. Abhay Jere was “What was the mindset of you (Shri Ajit Doval) during the air-strike, surgical strike”? The inspiring answer by Shri Ajit Doval was “the brain reacts the same but the difference is that how do you respond. Everyone have sense of anxiety, uncertainty but most important thing is that how do you cope up with it, how do you plan for it. If he (Shri Ajit Doval) was in that situation, he chooses the worst case scenario that what if everything goes wrong. What he does is that, he makes a result out of it and try to make it better till the point he thinks that it is worth taking the risk.

In between all the answers by Shri Ajit Doval, he was narrating his life, work experience and most importantly he described many of his operations from which he opened many young minds across the Nation. It was an amazing, inspiring sessions which made everyone to experience the “WOW” factor and gave us confidence and the will power to overcome one’s fear of failure and future predictions.

His golden words made us to think out of the box that is out of the society’s rules and regulation and he also mentioned a important point that, “A Great decision is not the one that brings changes in one’s life rather it affects the whole Nation with positive result over a long period of time.
